FRONT ROYAL – The Northern Shenandoah Chapter of Coming to the Table, an organization that encourages participants to “engage in deep dialogue about healing the effects of race in our lives” will be held on Thursday, April 12.

According to group spokesman Ira Chaleff, the meeting will occur at 213 E. Main Street, in Historic Downtown Front Royal (next to the Daily Grind) from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Chaleff, who co-facilitates the meeting with Judith James, said that participants are welcome to share their personal and family history regarding race, get to know each other and deepen relationships over time.  Those interested may come one time, to see if the meeting and discussion are helpful, he said.

There is no charge for attending the event.
