Rick’s Auto Care & Tire Center vandalism
On May 17, 2018, an eighteen-year-old Front Royal resident, Johnathan Michael Hendrickson, was arrested and charged with one felony count of destruction of property and five misdemeanor counts of destruction of property. A male juvenile, age 14, was also charged with one felony and thirteen misdemeanors of destruction of property and three misdemeanor counts of vehicle tampering. Additional charges are pending for a third suspect related to this matter.
Those charges resulted from an investigation concerning tires being slashed on several parked cars at Rick’s Auto Care & Tire Center, which was closed at the time. It was reported to the Front Royal Police that twenty-three (23) vehicles had been tampered with and/or vandalized. The investigation revealed that a total of sixteen tires were flattened as a result of being punctured.
