NOTICE: Road Closures – Kendrick Lane, Dixie Lane, Midway Avenue, Belair Avenue

KENDRICK LANE

  • Contractor is installing new water line for new Police Department site.
  • On Monday, June 18, 2018 Kendrick Lane will be closed to traffic from Adams Avenue to Monroe Avenue from 6:45am to 3:30pm (weather permitting).
  • Tractor Trailers that travel down to the end of Kendrick Lane should still be able by using W 11th Street to Adams Avenue.
  • Detour signs will be in place and motorists are asked to use caution while driving in this area and be aware of crews working.
  • Kendrick Lane shoulder will be closed and lane closure from new PD site to IT Federal (Avtex Construction Site) from May 16th through June 29th from 9am to 5pm (weather permitting).

DIXIE AVENUE

  • The Town of Front Royal will have a contractor installing a new water line from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday, May 7, 2018 to Friday, June 29, 2018.
  • A portion of Dixie Avenue will be closed, between West 13th and West 14th Streets, during this time. Please expect to have intermittent water usage at this time, also. Please be cautious when driving in this area and be aware of people working.
  • Signs will be in place and motorists are asked to use caution while driving in this area and be aware of crews working.

MIDWAY AVENUE

  • The Town of Front Royal will have a contractor installing a new water line from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Wednesday, May 24, 2018 to Friday, July 13, 2018(weather permitting).
  • Midway Avenue will be closed, from Hill Street to Acton Street, during this time. Please expect to have intermittent water usage at this time, also.

BELAIR AVENUE

  • The Town of Front Royal will have a contractor installing a new water line on Bel Air Avenue from 7am to 5pm, June 20, 2018 to July 27, 2018 (Weather permitting).
  • Bel Air Avenue will be closed, from 6th Street to 7th Street, during this time.
  • Please expect to have intermittent water usage during this time.

Motorists are asked to use caution when driving in this area and be aware of crews working. If any questions, please call Public Works at 540-635-7819, Monday through Friday, 7am-3:30pm.
