WHAT MATTERS Warren/World
Beth Medved Waller sends greetings from Uganda. On this one week trip, she took 100 lbs of supplies for the children and a special surprise video show made especially for them by Steve Foster and Amazing Grace, “The World’s Smartest Mule.” Grace even painted a picture for them to hang in the Maisha Home (a refuge for children and the headquarters of the NGO, Light up Life Foundations, where she stays). Grace also painted two other beautiful works of art that Steve gave Beth to sell as a fundraiser endeavor for the children.

Grace is arguably Front Royal’s most famous movie star, most known for the film “Get Low” with Robert Duvall (who has become a good friend of the duo and insists that Grace is smarter than many of the actors he has worked with through the years). Though it’s easy to feel “starstruck” when witnessing Grace’s brilliance, witnessing about Jesus and spreading His love is what the pair and their “three amigos” (their best friends and helpers) live for.

Watch this video to see Steve’s Amazing Grace in action, and be inspired by his words of faith. You’ll see the talented Grace dunk a basketball, multiply, play the piano, bow for prayers, read, smile, kiss, and so much more!  Steve’s mission in life is to spread the love of Jesus through this fascinating mule. He’s traveled with her to children’s hospitals, prisons and jails.

Steve and Grace invite the community to visit their farm at 4796 Reliance Road on the first and third Saturday’s of every month (at 7pm) for a gospel service that features Grace.  Steve encourages everyone he meets to “pull the trigger on love.” He says to do that, even when angry or betrayed, “you gotta kick the safety off first.”  That is done by simply “looking through the eyes of the Lord when you get upset or angry.”
