Town Tip Thursday, a WHAT MATTERS Initiative
TIP: What Matters is your Heart

Thanks to Front Royal soccer groups for opening theirs to help kids in Uganda! Thanks to the community for spreading your heart across the world! Beth Medved Waller wants to thank everyone who has supported her WHAT MATTERS Initiatives in Uganda as she heads off on her fourth trip to Africa since December.

Special thanks to the Front Royal Soccer Association, Rox Soccer Club and EVERYONE who has sent supplies, funds, prayers and warm thoughts to Light up Life Foundation in Africa!

Watch this video to see the thankful smiles and hear messages of gratitude from LUL Chairman Ssuunna “Fred” Wilson and children after he passed out “football” jerseys sent by local soccer groups after Beth’s last trip this summer.

She will be reunited this weekend as she takes two suitcases full of supplies and spends time at the Maisha Home, checks on the Bunyade school construction mission and works with Herbie Skarbie Kawuma in the music studio recording songs for an upcoming album.

The recording project will produce an album that will be featured in a future WHAT MATTERS fundraising initiative named Dollar Dream Download – to see a sneak peek of the initiative, watch this lyric video by Jacqui Ris for the single, “What Matters is your Heart” (lyrics written by Beth, recorded by Ian Pro in Kampala in April).  The song is already available for download on Amazon music, iTunes, Bandcamp or Google Play. Check it out HERE

WHAT MATTERS is a 501(c)(3) that focuses on local and global outreach to help spread the word and raise funds for causes that matter. If you’d like to get involved, or travel to Africa with Beth on a future trip, please contact her and check out www.whatmattersw2.com. Mark your calendars for the next Missions Matter Meetup on October 16th at 6:30 in her WHAT MATTER’S Open House, the community meeting space next to the Daily Grind on Main Street in Front Royal.
