Alice “Maybelle” Henson (1938 – 2026)

Alice “Maybelle” Henson, 87, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Warren Memorial Hospital.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at 1 PM at Panorama Memorial Gardens, 4917 Strasburg Road, Strasburg, with the Rev. Jimmy Williams officiating.

Mrs. Henson was born on October 18, 1938, in Warren County, Virginia, to the late George North and Bertha Williams.  She was also preceded in death by her two sisters, Mary “Sugie” Williams and Nora Sealock; two brothers, George North Jr. and Anderson North; son, Page K. Henson III, and grandson, Michael Glenn Stevens.  She was a member of the former Riverton United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 68 years, Page K. Henson Jr.; two daughters, Paget Stevens (Mike) and Jada Teachout (Shawn) all of Front Royal; six grandchildren, Jeremiah Dyke (Dunia), Joshua Dyke (Ashley), Elizabeth Helsley (Jason), Jacie Poe (Jason), Shawn Teachout (Morgan) and Seth Teachout (Gerry); eight great grandchildren, Skylar Dyke, Carlisle Dyke, Logan Dyke, Briella Dyke, Jaxen Poe, Sawyer Teachout, Harley Teachout and Sullivan Teachout and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made to a children’s charity of one’s choice.
