Blue Ridge Arts Council honored Lorraine Hultquist as their Arts Citizen of the Year at the 16th Annual Dinner Roast held at Shenandoah Valley Golf Club in Front Royal. The evening was full of smiles and several belly laughs as friends and family “lightly roasted” Lorraine. Doug Stanley and Pam McInnis served as emcees for the evening. Watch this video to see a few of the roasts!

About Lorraine: Lorraine is active in many community organizations including St. Luke’s Community Clinic, Warren Heritage Society, and Blue Ridge Arts Council, to name a few. She is a strong advocate for the arts in our community, and in 2017, she established the first set of playable, musical instruments at Rockland Park, now known as the Lorraine LeHew Hultquist Music Garden. A second music park has been created at Happy Creek Fantasyland and was completed earlier this year.
