Archie Kevin Ford (1962 – 2024)

Archie Kevin Ford, 62, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Wednesday, July 3, 2024, at Warren Memorial Hospital.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 11 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal, with the Rev. Philip Lewis officiating.  Burial will follow at West View Cemetery in Upperville, Virginia.

Mr. Ford was born to the late Robert and Gertrude Ford Russell on January 22, 1962, in Warrenton, Virginia.  He was also preceded in death by his brother, Larry Ford, and two sisters, Barbara Lewis and Elaine Ellison.  He was a member of Mount Pisgah Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Paula Ford; daughter, Ashley Nicole Lane; three stepdaughters, Melanie Watkins, Leslie Watkins, and Sandra Grayson; brother, Trone L. Ford (Sharon); two sisters, Joan Edwards (Robert) and Gloria Beckwith; two grandchildren, Amirah Porter and King Porter; twelve stepchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.

Troy Lewis, Chris Ford, Shawn Lewis, Brandon Ford, Kevin Ford, and Cameron Williams will be the pallbearers.

Honorary pallbearers will be Clarence Carter, Virgil Johnson, Robert Nickens, George Caison, and Henry Sloane.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.

In place of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Maddox Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
