Community Invited to Experience DaVinci Surgical Robot at Fauquier Health Event
Fauquier Health is hosting a special Community Day on Saturday, September 21, offering a unique mix of educational and interactive experiences for the entire family. From 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., visitors will have the chance to explore healthcare engagingly, with highlights including the opportunity to test-drive the cutting-edge DaVinci surgical robot, a tool revolutionizing modern surgery.
The event will feature a wide range of activities to foster greater awareness of health and wellness. Community members can attend informative health chats covering important topics like women’s health, weight management, and heart-healthy cooking. These sessions are designed to help people take control of their health and learn practical tips to improve their well-being.
In addition, Fauquier Health is opening up parts of the hospital for tours. For guests aged 16 and older, a behind-the-scenes look at the hospital’s plant operations will offer a rare glimpse into how the facility runs smoothly. Visitors will also have the chance to meet healthcare providers, ask questions about healthcare careers, and explore the variety of emergency response vehicles, including a medical helicopter.
This event provides an excellent opportunity for those interested in pursuing a career in healthcare to gain valuable insights into the field. For the younger visitors, these activities offer a fun and interactive way to learn more about medicine and healthcare workers’ important role in the community.
Fauquier Health is proud to invite the community to this informative and interactive event, which promises to provide something for everyone. The day is a chance for residents of Warrenton and the surrounding areas to learn more about health, tour the hospital, and even try out the DaVinci surgical robot.
