Final Walton Wednesday of 2026 Set for Tomorrow, June 24

The final Izaak Walton Leagues ‘Walton Wednesday’ of 2026 will be held tomorrow from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at 3364 Gooney Manor Loop in Bentonville.

The free public event will feature Kathleen Fish from the Department of Forestry, who will teach children about trees and their role in the environment. Activities will include tree sculptures, a pizza party, free play, and fishing.

Families are invited to bring children and enjoy a day in the park.

Sharon Longmire, events coordinator for the conservation group, said Walton Wednesday outings are designed to help children spend time outdoors and connect with nature on the group’s 155-acre farm.
