Froggy’s Closet accepting donations for children in need

Froggy's Closet is located at 32 East Piccadilly Street in Winchester, VA.

Winchester, VA – Froggy’s Closet, a project of Families Reaching Out Group (FROG), received 5,040 pairs of socks from Bombas.

We can’t thank Bombas enough. Froggy’s Closet received 29 boxes of socks May 17, 2018 to help foster children, children in need, and children at risk in the community. The socks will be given out to children and young adults with a referral from local agencies.

Socks remain the #1 most requested clothing item at homeless shelters. For every pair of Bombas purchased, the company will donate a pair to someone in need. They have made over five million small acts of human kindness possible.

Froggy’s Closet provides clothing and necessities for foster children, children in need and at risk in the surrounding area. So far this year, Froggy’s Closet has filled over 500 requests for items. Requests vary in need, but consist of a week’s worth of clothing, cribs, car seats, and pack ‘n plays.

Froggy’s Closet accepts donations Tuesdays and Thursdays 10:00am-3:00pm, Wednesdays 1:00pm-5:00pm, and by appointment.
