Front Royal Announces Holiday Schedule Changes and Seasonal Service Updates

Published

on

Residents of Front Royal, get ready to adjust your calendars! The Town of Front Royal Business Offices will be closed on Monday, January 15, 2024, in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday. But don’t worry about your trash and recycling – the town has got it covered!

Usually, if your bins roll out on Monday, you’ll need to wait a bit longer. The town will collect Monday’s trash and recycling on Wednesday, January 17. So, hold onto your recyclables and waste for an extra couple of days. It’s business as usual for everyone else – your collection days remain unchanged.

But wait, there’s more! It’s time to say goodbye to your festive Christmas trees. The final day for the Christmas Tree Collection, along with the Wednesday Yard Waste Collection, is set for January 24, 2024. It’s your last chance to have your holiday greenery and yard waste whisked away. After that, Wednesday Yard Waste Collection will take a little break, returning on April 3, 2024.

These changes and updates are part of the town’s efforts to keep services running smoothly while honoring important holidays. So, mark your calendars, and let’s keep Front Royal clean and green!
