Front Royal Woman Nearing a Century: Card Shower Planned for 100th Birthday

Published

on

A very special milestone is right around the corner for Front Royal resident Billie Ruth Bowen, who will turn 100 years old in just two weeks. To celebrate this remarkable occasion, her longtime friend, Pam Waters, is organizing a card shower—inviting members of the community to help fill Billie Ruth’s mailbox with love, memories, and well-wishes.

Those who would like to participate can send birthday cards in care of Pam Waters at the following address:

Pam Waters
1100 Happy Ridge Drive
Front Royal, VA 22630

“No gifts are needed—just kind words and happy birthday greetings,” said Waters. “Billie Ruth has lived a life full of grace, kindness, and quiet strength. It would mean so much to her to feel the love of the community as she celebrates this once-in-a-lifetime birthday.”

Whether you know Billie Ruth personally or want to brighten the day of a local centenarian, all are welcome to send a card. The goal is to fill her heart—and her home—with thoughtful notes marking her 100th trip around the sun.

Please mail your cards soon to ensure they arrive in time for the big day.
