Harry B. Gill (1944 – 2024)

Harry B. Gill, 80, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away at Page Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, December 11, 2024.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 2 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal, with Sammy Campbell officiating.  Burial will follow at Bennett’s Chapel Cemetery.

Mr. Gill was born on January 1, 1944, in McVeytown, Pennsylvania, to the late Clarence and Charlotte Lindenburger Gill.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Nancy McDonald Gill and sister, Anna Carson.  He graduated from Roth Rock High School in Mcveytown and was a former member of Spring Run Church of the Brethren in McVeytown.  He retired from Auto Zone in Front Royal and attended Chester Gap Baptist Church.  Mr. Gill loved to play golf and go hunting and fishing.

His survivors include his two daughters, Crystal Tharpe (Tony) and Terry Griffith; his sister, Carol Wilson; and three grandchildren, Anthony Seal, Brandon Griffith, and Chandler Griffith.

The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home.
