James Christopher “Chris” Sain, 77, a longtime resident of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at Winchester Medical Center.

Mr. Sain was born on August 3, 1948, in Mesa, Arizona, to the late James W. and Hilda E. Sain.  He is also preceded in death by his sister, Rebecca A. Sinclair.

Chris was a passionate lover of wrestling, a devoted fan of the “Washington Redskins” as he would say, and someone who found joy in life’s simple pleasures, good food, swimming when he was younger, and time spent with the people he loved.  He was a bright light, the kind of person who could walk into any room and instantly lift the mood with his presence.

Chris was deeply loved and left a lasting impact on every person he met.  He had a rare, almost magical way of connecting with others, always finding a path straight to people’s hearts.  His warmth, humor, and genuine spirit will be remembered and cherished.
