A proud graduate of Warren County High School, JD furthered his education at Lord Fairfax Community College. In Front Royal, he became a beloved figure in the community as the owner of The DJ Connection, where his vibrant personality and love for people truly shone. Later, he relocated to Florida, where he served as Vice President of SK Construction, forming an enduring bond of trust and friendship with the company’s owner, Mark King, who became like family to him.
JD’s zest for life was evident in everything he did. He never met a stranger, cherishing each friendship and connection he made. He had a passion for riding his motorcycle, sharing a brotherhood that spanned across the country.
JD’s faith played an important role in his life. Last year, he rededicated his life to Jesus Christ at Parkview Church in Palm Coast, Florida, a community that held a special place in his heart.
A celebration of JD’s life will be held on March 15, 2025 at Riverton Church in Front Royal, Virginia, at 2:00 p.m. with a visitation beginning one hour prior to the service. A meal will follow the service at the Elks Club on Guard Hill Road.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in JD’s memory to Parkview Church, c/o Pastor Greg Peters, 5435 Belle Terre Parkway, Palm Coast, Florida, 32137.
