Kymberly Anne Reine Swecker (1969 – 2025)

Kymberly Anne Reine Swecker (55), of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away at home on April 8, 2025, surrounded by her children and husband. Kymberly was born to Paul and Patricia Kennedy on June 22, 1969, in Manassas, Virginia.

A sweet, kind and selfless soul, Kymberly was known for her unwavering love for her family, friends and God. She enjoyed going fishing and attending the Washington Nationals baseball games. Kymberly attended Osbourn Park High School, Class of ’87 and went on to work in the Warren County Public School System as a Para Educator and later opened her own in-home daycare.

Kymberly is survived by her husband of 37 years, James Swecker, her three daughters, Casey Swecker, Jessica (Brian) Smoot, and Samantha Swecker, her father Paul (Judy) Kennedy and her brother Kevin (Donna) Kennedy, Neice, Katelyn Kennedy, and Nephew Kane Kennedy, and the apple of her eye, her granddaughter, Anna Smoot. Kym was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Ann Kennedy.

A memorial service will be held on April 26, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Riverton Church, 55 East Strasburg Rd., Front Royal, VA 22630, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Riverton Church in Kymberly’s memory.
