Local elementary school artists paint Town Hall windows

FRONT ROYAL – A group of fifth grade artists, under the direction of Leslie Fox Keyser Elementary’s Laura Walthall and A.S. Rhodes Elementary’s Caitlin Himelright, spent Monday afternoon painting the windows of Town Hall on Main Street.

“This activity allowed the students to provide a service to the community as well as learn to work together as a team to achieve a common goal,” said Jennifer Avery, mother of painter
Shiloh Avery.

The painting creates a stained-glass window effect, with winter themes on each panel.
