Mason Ryder Langlais, 12, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at the University of Virginia Medical Center.

A Celebration of his Life will be held on Sunday, August 10, at 2:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Sammy Campbell officiating. Inurnment will be private.
Mason was born on October 1, 2012, in Winchester, Virginia, the son of Patrick M. Langlais and Jennifer L. Shell.
Mason was courageous and a true fighter through his illness until the very end. He was well loved by his family and friends.
Surviving, along with his parents, are his mimi and pop pop, Tammy and Tommy Shell; mawmaw, Judy Shell; pops, Mike Langlais; granny, Sharyn Mills; two sisters, Jillian and Wynslie; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Honorary pallbearers will be Brayden Mathews, Lanedon Shell, Carter Shell, Benjamin Shell, Parker Shifflett, and Kaden Holtzhauser.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, August 10 from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home.
