Metro to run regular subway hours, reduced bus service
WASHINGTON — Area commuters who use Metro need to know that the snowstorm predicted for Monday and Tuesday has brought some changes to the Metro system.

The Metro system will run on it’s regular schedule Tuesday.
Metro officials said Monday evening that the rail system would operate on it’s regular schedule during the predicted winter snowstorm, with buses operating on a reduced service. The transit agency says trains could run less frequently during the storm.
SafeTrack single tracking will continue on the blue and yellow lines, but workers will be deployed for snow clearing duties instead of surge repairs. Metro says SafeTrack shuttle buses between Franconia-Springfield and Pentagon will not operate on Tuesday.
Additionally, the transit agency also said the MetroAccess Paratransit service is suspended through Tuesday.
