Michael Rene “Tank” Medrano, 28, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 1, at 2:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home, with Sammy Campbell officiating.

Michael was born December 6, 1995, in Winchester, Virginia, the son of Wendy Jenkins-Moore. He graduated from Warren County High School in 2014.

Surviving are his loving mother, Wendy Jenkins-Moore; stepfather, Samuel Potter; and grandmother, Dorothy L. Jenkins, all of Strasburg, Virginia; one sister, Mikayla M. Sloat of Front Royal, Virginia; brother-in-law, Jacob W. Sloat of Front Royal, Virginia; his dearest friend, Nina Miller; cousins, Emilia Walker, Eva Walker, Erica Walker, and Katie Jenkins-Hartz; along with many nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents, Charles and Gloria Jenkins; aunt, Lisa D. Walker; and three uncles, William D. Jenkins, Andrew C. Walker, and Timothy Hudson.

Pallbearers will be Mikayla Sloat, Jacob Sloat, Alex Mclean, Austin Thrane, Michael Anspaugh and Vincent Ratigan.

Emila Walker, Eva Walker, Katie Jenkins-Hartz, and Skyla Robertson will be honorary pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 1, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
