PickleStock 2025 Cuts the Ribbon on a Day of Fun at Warren County Fairgrounds

The Warren County Fairgrounds came alive this morning as community leaders, organizers, and families gathered for the ribbon-cutting ceremony that kicked off PickleStock 2025. The second annual festival, hosted by the Petty Event 2025 Team along with Petty Betty Treats, DH Farmstead, and Lively Jane Collective, runs all day on Saturday, September 13, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

With sunshine overhead and green pickle-themed banners waving, the opening remarks set the tone for what promises to be a lighthearted and lively celebration.

“Welcome to PickleStock 2025’s second annual event here in Warren County,” said William Huck of the Warren County Chamber of Commerce as he stood beside the ceremonial ribbon. “Thank you for bringing this to our community. Let’s have a successful event.”

Organizers emphasized that the festival is designed to be more than just a day of quirky fun. They pointed to its role as a hub for vendors, nonprofits, and families to connect.

“I’ve walked around a little bit this morning,” said Supervisor Cheryl Cullers,  as she addressed the crowd. “There’s a lot of vendors here, a lot of nonprofits, food, games for kids, and things. They’re going to be here until six. It’s a beautiful day. Why not come on out and experience Warren County with the pickle group?”

Festival co-founder Liz Coffey also stepped up to the microphone with energy and gratitude, highlighting the broad scope of activities on tap.

“This is PickleStock 2025,” she said with a smile. “We are at the Warren County Fairgrounds on this beautiful September 13th. We will be here all day. Then come and visit the circus—its first show starts at four and continues until six. This is an all-day community fun event. It’s free—very, very free! The circus does cost money, but everything else is free. Then there’s food, fun, the Petty Stage, the Petty Pavilion, contests, and all kinds of entertainment.”

She added a heartfelt note of thanks to the festival’s sponsors, partners, and volunteers. “Thank you to all of our gold event sponsors, thank you to the Warren County Fair, and thank you to our families who support us. We love you all and we’ll see you soon.”

And, of course, one question had to be asked: would there be pickles? Liz laughed and gave the answer everyone hoped for. “Yes! Pickles in ice cream, pickles in a drink—oh, there’s pickles everywhere.”

The crowd joined in counting down as the ribbon was officially cut, marking the start of the day’s festivities.

The festival schedule offers something for everyone: live music on multiple stages, games for children, contests centered on pickles, and a bustling marketplace filled with artisans, food trucks, and nonprofit booths. True to its name, the event embraces its pickle theme with whimsical touches—including the return of mascot “Pickle Pete,” who promises photo opportunities and a few surprises for festivalgoers.

Organizers have stressed that the festival’s mission is about more than just cucumbers in brine. By offering free vendor spaces to nonprofits, PickleStock aims to give local organizations a chance to connect with residents in a welcoming and family-friendly atmosphere.

“It’s more than just a food festival,” organizers said in advance of the event. “It’s about building community, creating joy, and giving everyone a reason to come together.”

From pickle-inspired snacks to live performances and a late-afternoon circus, PickleStock 2025 is designed to carry on until the last laugh and the final crunch.

The ribbon is cut, the pickles are chilled, and Warren County is ready for a briny bash that promises memories as much as it does flavor.
