September Pet of the Month: Donations for Homegirl’s surgery

Published

on

Meet Homegirl! This lovable pup has been selected to be the Warren County sponsored September Pet of the Month. This month we are doing things a little different. Homegirl is in need of a pretty big surgery (full mastectomy). We are hoping to raise $2,000 for the surgery. She will be spayed after the surgery as well. Once she is healed, she will be ready to be adopted to her perfect, new forever home.

As you can see in the video, she is so very friendly and loving. She is a 10-year-old Jack Russell Terrier who still loves to run and play ball. As I was setting up the camera, she kept bringing the ball over to me to throw!

Betty Showers, of Fussell Florist in Front Royal, is our featured business partner this month! Please be sure to visit Betty’s shop on Commerce Avenue next time you are in need of some fresh, beautiful flowers to brighten up your home or to send to that special someone!
