Published

on

The Front Royal Police Department executed a search warrant on January 24, 2025, at a residence on 339 West Duck Street, aiming to recover dirt bikes stolen earlier this month. The thefts occurred during the night of January 18 and prompted an intensive investigation that has already led to key developments, including one recovery and two arrests.

After an extensive search and follow-up investigation, police determined the location of one of the stolen dirt bikes at a residence in Warren County. Working with the Warren County Sheriff’s Office, officers successfully recovered the missing bike.

Authorities arrested Lauren Tyice Roberts, a 39-year-old Front Royal resident, in connection with the thefts. She faces multiple charges, including grand larceny, conspiracy to commit grand larceny, and larceny with intent to sell property valued at $1,000 or more. Roberts is currently being held without bail at RSW Regional Jail, awaiting court proceedings.

During the execution of the search warrant, officers discovered a wanted fugitive, Breanna Mae Cochran of Front Royal, inside the residence on West Duck Street. Cochran reportedly provided false identification but was taken into custody. She is also being held without bail at RSW Regional Jail.

The Front Royal Police Department credited the Warren County Sheriff’s Office and the Northwest Virginia Regional Drug Task Force for their collaboration during the investigation.

Detectives are still pursuing leads and encourage anyone with additional information to contact Detective R. Williamson at (540) 636-2208 or by email at rwilliamson@frontroyalva.com.

This case serves as a reminder of the importance of cooperation between local law enforcement agencies in tackling crime and recovering stolen property.
