The 231th Birthday of the Constitution Celebrated September 15th
Celebration is at Mt. Hebron Cemetery Saturday, September 15, 2018 at High Noon
A program of thanksgiving for the Constitution of the United States will be presented at 12:00 Noon, Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Mt. Hebron Cemetery. Specific location is at the General Daniel Morgan National Cemetery at the monuments dedicated to the US Armed Forces. This will be an exciting, “living history” event!
Students, parents, teachers and public are encouraged to attend. Attendance is free.
The public is invited and attendance is free. Parking is available near the site. Co-chairing the event will be General George Washington, himself, portrayed by his Honor Charles Harbaugh IV, Middleton mayor.

Forty American Revolution War veterans buried in Mt. Hebron Cemetery will be honored for their sacrifice in securing our Independent and Freedom. A Nation governed by a Constitution is what they fought and died to establish.
Numbers of scholars will speak as Revolutionary War Soldiers, and re-enactors will tell stories and show there equipment. Liberty Man, a popular “old soldier” will meet kids and adults who attend. Liberty Man portrays his Great x4 Grandfather Abel Johnston who fought the British alongside General Daniel Morgan. Many other descendants of soldiers, who fought in the Revolution, will be present.
Liberty Man portrays his Great x4 Grandfather Abel JohnstonMaster of Ceremonies Alan Morrison, a popular pastor in the Shenandoah Valley and descendant of a Revolutionary Soldier, will share master of ceremonies duties with General George Washington, who has come to honor his old soldiers buried at the Winchester Cemetery.
Hundreds of Soldiers, Airmen, Marines, and Sailors who fought in all our wars for our Constitution are buried at Mt. Hebron. This is your opportunity to honor them with your presence.
