Truman F. Moore, Jr. (1942 – 2025)

Truman F. Moore, Jr., 82, of Marshall, Virginia, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at Brookside Rehab and Nursing Center.

A Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal, with the Rev. H.G. Leach officiating.  Burial will follow in Linden Church Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Moore was born on May 27, 1942, in Warrenton, Virginia, to the late Truman F. Moore Sr. and Ruth Dawson Cameron.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Mabel Elkins Moore; two brothers, James E. Cameron and Douglas L. Cameron; and sister, Carolyn Mullins.  He spent his life pursuing his passion of farming with his wife.

Survivors include five sisters, Shelia Cameron of Marshall, Lucy Holtslag of Warrenton, Diane Wright of Rixeyville, Virginia, Dianna Rutherford of Madison, Virginia, and Hannah Cameron of Warrenton, and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m.
