French Earl Tolliver, Jr. (1960 – 2026)

French Earl Tolliver, Jr, 65, formerly of Front Royal, passed peacefully into the arms of The Savior on February 28, 2026.

He bravely fought a 7+ year cancer battle with his loving wife Christine by his side.

French was born to parents, French Sr and Alice Tolliver, and grew up on the farm in the Rockland Community. He loved the outdoors and his animals.

He earned his degree in veterinary technology from Northern Virginia Community College and began his career at Roseville Vet Clinic in Boyce, VA. He then worked until retirement for the ATF for nearly 23 years, caring for their dogs.

French was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Christine.

Also survived by 2 children, Marshall and Jane Alice, and 2 sisters, Frances Tolliver Tewalt (husband Ron) and Susan Ross Reid (husband Scott), and nephews Scott Reid III (wife Jean) and Jeff Reid.

French was known for his faithful trust in God and his sense of humor. He always had a positive attitude, even throughout his battle with cancer. He set an example for all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
