Wanda Lea Ludwig Carroll (1946 – 2025)

Wanda Lea Ludwig Carroll, 79, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on September 10, 2025, in the comfort of her home.

A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Rivermont Baptist Church, 575 Catlett Mountain Rd, Front Royal, with Pastor Justin Dove officiating. The family invites guests to visit one hour before the service. Following all services, her burial will take place at Panorama Memorial Gardens.

Wanda was born on March 18, 1946, in Woodstock, Virginia, to the late Roy Arthur and Jean Marie Beydler Ludwig. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Tommy Arthur Ludwig, and her sister, Shirley Ann Wynkoop.

Surviving Wanda are her loving husband of 60 years, Leslie Thomas Carroll; her daughters, Melissa Kay Sherrill (David), and Patricia Ann Nelson (Timothy); her sisters, Melinda Arnold and Kathy Jenkins; her three grandchildren; her great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Wanda was a devoted member of Rivermont Baptist Church. She was a wonderful wife, mother, baker, and all-around cook. She was an excellent homemaker, and she always kept her home immaculate.

Pallbearers are Timothy Dyke, Luis Patricio, Michael Moran, Bruce Ring, Duane Orndoff, and Ritchie Vaught.

Honorary pallbearer will be Jerry Louderback.
