Warren County Girl Scouts Make History with First-Ever Flag Ceremony at Front Royal Soccer Association Opening Day
Warren County Girl Scout troops from Service Unit 14-04 made history during the Front Royal Soccer Association (FRSA) opening day by performing the first-ever Girl Scout Flag Ceremony in the county. The ceremony on the soccer fields marked a significant moment as the Girl Scouts raised the flag for the opening day celebration.

The girls worked hard to make the event memorable, each taking on different roles:
- Flag Bearer: Girl Scout Brownie Elora Grose, age 8, Troop 14124
- Callers: Girl Scout Cadette Isabella Kaplan, age 12, Troop 14005; Girl Scout Junior Ephie Chiavacci, age 10, Troop 14005
- Color Guard: Girl Scout Brownie Riley Chiavacci, age 7, Troop 14124; Girl Scout Junior Daniella Kaplan, age 10, Troop 14005; Girl Scout Cadette Cortney Jones, age 13, Troop 40303; Girl Scout Cadette Evelyn Wilkins, age 14, Troop 14005
Service Unit Leaders Amira Kaplan and Nyssa Chiavacci organized the ceremony and guided the girls through their practice sessions. The event was a proud moment for all involved, with other Girl Scouts from the community in attendance to support their sisters.
