Beth Medved Waller reports on our Warren County real estate market:

As of 6/16/17, there are only 296 active homes on the market in Warren (60 are new constructions) and 138 under contract. We definitely have a shortage of properties for buyers to choose from, which is causing prices to rise based largely on supply and demand factors.

To date there have been 299 sold in Warren compared to last year when, during the same time period, 263 had sold. That’s a sharp contrast to 2012 when 119 had sold in the same period.

The average sold price for May 2017 was $238,810, in contrast to May 2016 when the average was $226,814 (that reflects a 5.29% increase).

See attached chart for thorough May stats.
