Driving more traffic to your website through SEO: What is SEO and How Can I Improve It?

Did you know that Google now uses over 200+ factors in their algorithm, including social signals, user-interaction, and trust, for your website ranking in search? How can you know which ones to focus on first?

Search engine optimization (SEO) is the process of affecting the visibility of a website or a web page in a web search engine’s unpaid results. Although only one component of internet marketing strategy, SEO is perhaps one of the most crucial elements in order to be found on the internet. SEO considers how search engines work, what people search for, the actual search terms or keywords typed into search engines and which search engines are preferred by their targeted audience

In this session, participants will learn:

  • the basic terminology and characteristics of SEO
  • where to start with analyzing your SEO
  • identifying easy things to spot and change for improving SEO
  • how to improve your website click through rate (CTR) and conversions
  • how to develop a budget-friendly SEO strategy for your organization

There will be time for Q&A and live examples.

Who will benefit?

The session will benefit anyone involved in an organization’s online presence. Operational and technically minded staff may find direct application, while top level strategists will find helpful for larger scale planning and goal determination.
