FALL PROFESSIONAL HEAD SHOT EVENT

Put your best face forward! Fall is unofficially here and it’s time to update your professional image. The Chamber has partnered with Tolliver Studios to update your professional head shot on September 10th (9 a.m. – 3 p.m.) and September 12th (noon-6 p.m.). $40/Chamber members $55/Non-members. You will receive one digital image of your choice. Additional images available through Tolliver Studios. Appointments available every 15 minutes. SMALL BUSINESS COMMITTEE HOSTS JOB FAIR

The Chamber’s Small Business Committee invites employers to participate in our Fall Job Fair to be held at Samuels Public Library on September 10th, 1:30-4 p.m.

2019 RIVER & BREWS FESTIVAL
(FORMERLY BREW & BLUES FESTIVAL)

Fun abounds in downtown Front Royal, Virginia on Saturday, September 21, 2019! Bring your family and enjoy a day of fun, delicious food, great live entertainment, and of course, beer tasting. The festival gates open at noon with activities (including corn hole and yard games) and live entertainment all day until 6 p.m.

Come and enjoy tastings of 60+ different beers from breweries all over Virginia and elsewhere. Food trucks and vendors will be offer a myriad of tasty treats and you can always stroll downtown and enjoy one of our many fantastic local eateries. Downtown also offers a wide array of unique shopping opportunities and historic walking tours and museums for your enjoyment as well. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and find a seat around the gazebo to enjoy live entertainment. The entertainment schedule is as follows: Ryan Jewel Noon – 2:30 p.m. and The Reflex Band 3 – 5:30 p.m.

Admission is $25 in advance or $30 at the gate for beer tasters. Beer tasters will receive a commemorative souvenir tasting glass, a wristband and 5 tickets for samplings or the purchase of full beers. Additional beer tickets will be available for purchase. VIP $65 and only 100 are sold.

Advance tickets can be purchased in a number of ways; Online or by visiting the Chamber of Commerce at 201 E. 2nd Street, Front Royal or the Front Royal Visitor Center at 414 E. Main Street, Front Royal. General Admission is FREE. Beer tasters must be 21 years of age or older and will be required to present a photo I.D.

A national study performed by The Schapiro Group (Atlanta-based strategic consulting firm) showed that a business, which has invested in membership in a local Chamber of Commerce, enjoys a 49 percent increase in its consumer favorability, and there is an 80 percent increase in the likelihood that consumers will patronize the business in the future.

Chamber welcomes Kells Belles to Front Royal

The Front Royal/Warren County Chamber of Commerce, along with Town Mayor Chris Holloway, Councilman Gary Gilespie, and friends welcomed Kells Belles to Main Street in downtown Front Royal. Kells Belles is the dream of Kelly Wahl to provide a women’s fashion boutique to the Front Royal community.

Kells Belles is located at 213 E. Main Street in downtown Front Royal. Kelly says she will be open on Wednesday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and on Sunday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, closed on Monday and Tuesday.

Chamber welcomes Garcia & Gavino to Front Royal

Nike Foster Cales of the Front Royal/Warren County Chamber of Commerce, along with Town Manager Steven Hicks, Board of Supervisor Chair Cheryl Cullers, Chamber Board Vice-CHair Bryon Biggs, and friends welcomed Garcia & Gavino Bakery at 40 E. 8th Street to the Front Royal community.

Garcia & Gavino is a locally owned & family-run business. Melissa Garcia and Ivan Gavino, along with son Seth say their goal is to bring family heritages and traditions and incorporate them into favorite treats. They specialize in sweets, but their tamale fairies make regular visits to bring delicious specials and occasional keto-friendly treats to us.

Their new hours are: Tuesday – Thursday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Local Senior Center reopens with new location and new name

The Shenandoah Area Agency on Aging is now Seniors First. The name change reflects their mission to enhance the dignity and independence of older adults in our community.

Niki Foster Cales of the Front Royal/Warren County Chamber of Commerce, along with fellow Chamber members and Board of Supervisors Chairman Cheryl Cullers, welcomed Seniors First to its new home. Seniors First is located at 207 Mosby Lane, Front Royal.

Seniors First, the Shenandoah Area Agency on Aging is a non-profit organization that provides high-quality services and opportunities that enhance the dignity and independence of seniors and promote their contributions to the community.

Agency services are designed to assist older persons who wish to stay in their own homes, provide information for seniors and their families, protect individuals living in long-term care residences, facilitate staying active and provide community service. They serve the counties of Clarke, Frederick, Page, Shenandoah, Warren, and the city of Winchester.


Our videographer, and now reporter, Mark Williams, spoke with Jimmy Roberts, Executive Director, prior to the ribbon-cutting.

Quality Title moves to a new home in Front Royal

Niki Foster Cales of the Front Royal/Warren County Chamber of Commerce, along with fellow Chamber members welcomed Mary and Will Carroll of Quality Title LLC to their new home with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Quality Title has opened their office, now located at 109 Chester Street in Front Royal.

Mary says, “We are a title and closing firm located in Front Royal and with extensive experience in the Washington D.C. metro area. Grand re-opening & ribbon cutting at Royal Cinemas

Royal Cinemas in Front Royal held its grand re-opening on December 16, 2021. Nike Foster Cales of the Front Royal/Warren County Chamber of Commerce along with Board of Supervisors Chairman Cheryl Cullers and Town Councilman Gary Gillespie congratulated Rick and Debbie Novak on their re-opening and theater improvements.

On Saturday and Sunday, December 18-19, 2021, White Christmas will be playing on the big screen. This is a FREE Christmas movie and starts at 1 pm on each day. Don’t miss it.
