FOSL Annual Book Sale Returns to Front Royal in September

Published

on

If you’re a book lover or want to support a good cause, mark your calendars for the Friends of Samuels Library (FOSL) Annual Book Sale. This beloved event will take place from September 26-30, 2024, in the White Meeting Room at Samuels Public Library, located at 330 East Criser Road in Front Royal.

The sale kicks off with a special FOSL Members Only Preview Night on Thursday, September 26, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. The public is welcome to shop for books on Friday, September 27, and Saturday, September 28, from 10 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. The sale wraps up on Monday, September 30, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. (or later), with a “Name Your Own Price” day, allowing visitors to pick up great reads at whatever price they choose.

The Annual Book Sale is one of FOSL’s most important fundraisers. All funds raised support Samuels Public Library’s programming, equipment, and services that might otherwise be outside the library’s budget. In the past year alone, FOSL has contributed over $20,000 to children and adult reading programs, educational events in history, art, science, and gardening, and even supported the library’s new self-checkout kiosks and Hoopla! Digital Services.

Those who wish to get a sneak peek at the books on offer should consider becoming a FOSL member. Members enjoy benefits such as discounts at the Epilogue Book Store throughout the year, exclusive access to the Members Only Preview Night, and the satisfaction of knowing their membership helps support Samuels Public Library.

To learn more about becoming a FOSL member, visit Friends of Samuels Library or stop by the Epilogue Book Store at 330 East Criser Road, Front Royal, VA.

Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to find new books, meet fellow book lovers, and support your local library!
