During his time in office, Waltz played a key role in driving growth and development in the community. His leadership was marked by a focus on collaboration, strengthening relationships with local stakeholders, and improving the efficiency of town operations. Under his guidance, Front Royal saw progress on several initiatives to enhance residents’ quality of life and foster the Town’s reputation as a dynamic, welcoming community.

While the news of Waltz’s departure brings a sense of change, it also comes with appreciation. Town Council members and staff have praised his dedication, emphasizing his significant contributions to Front Royal’s success. “His impact will be felt for years to come,” said Mayor Lori Cockrell.

As the search begins for a new town manager, officials are committed to maintaining momentum on current projects. Waltz has pledged to support the transition and ensure the Town remains on a steady path during the leadership change.

Front Royal residents have also expressed gratitude for Waltz’s efforts, noting his approachable leadership style and focus on community needs. “He’s been a steady and thoughtful leader,” said one local business owner.

With his departure, Waltz leaves a legacy of progress and a community better positioned for the future.
