A bundle of joy marked the start of the new year at Fauquier Health, where the first baby of 2025 arrived on Thursday, January 2. Baby Amelia made her grand entrance at 11:32 p.m., weighing 8 pounds, 7 ounces, and 21.5 inches long.

Parents Brooke and Trevor weren’t expecting a New Year baby – Amelia was due on December 27. “We came in at 6:30 in the morning,” said Brooke. “Amelia decided she was ready to arrive. We are both doing great.”

The Family Birthing Center at Fauquier Health played a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth and joyful delivery. The team extended heartfelt congratulations to the family, expressing their delight in helping to welcome Amelia into the world.

Fauquier Health, a cornerstone of the Warrenton community, is well-regarded for its patient-first approach. It operates a 97-bed acute care hospital and numerous specialized practices, earning recognition for excellence in stroke care, joint replacement, and cardiac health.

Baby Amelia’s arrival has filled her family, the hospital staff, and the community with optimism and joy for the year ahead. Congratulations to Brooke, Trevor, and Baby Amelia as they begin their new chapter together.
