American Legion Community Band: Fall Benefit Concert October 24th

Fall Benefit Concert American Legion Community Band Tuesday, Oct. 24, 2017 7:30 pm Boggs Chapel at R-MA Front Royal, Va 22630

Free Admission. An offering will be collected for American Legion’s National Emergency Fund, which provides financial assistance to American Legion family members and posts impacted by natural disasters like hurricanes.

The American Legion Community Band, located in Front Royal, Va, was formed in 1986 and has been playing concerts in the area for over 30 years. The conductors and band members are all volunteer musicians from the local area and new members are always welcome.

The conductors are Ed RichardsRonald Dye and Mark Malechek. All rehearsals are held on Tuesdays from 7:30 – 9:00 pm in the Fulton Fine Arts Complex bandroom at Randolph-Macon Academy in Front Royal, Va. Anyone who plays an instrument and would like to join is welcome to attend. The American Legion Community Band’s performance season extends from September through July each year with public performances both indoors and out.
