Blair David Eller
Blair was born on June 17, 1963, in Westminster, Maryland, to the late Galen Ross and Mary Caroline Wenger Eller. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Myra Jones.
Surviving Blair are his loving wife of 43 years, Virginia Faye Schurtz Eller; his daughters, Emily Estes (Brad) and Valery Judy (John); his grandson, Raymond Estes; his brothers, Marlin Eller (Joyce), and Burt Eller (Biz); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Blair was a man guided by faith, and many saw him as a true servant of the Lord. He was well known for his willingness to help others. Whether leading projects on mission trips or offering a helping hand, Blair’s acts of service were always sincere and selfless.
Those who knew him well saw how much he enjoyed the simple things—time with his family, the view from the beach house, and a late-night snack. In his free time, he liked fishing, golfing, and watching sports, especially the Washington Capitals. Above all, Blair loved his family. He was a proud father and a devoted husband.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Kelsey’s Missions, a 501(c)(3) ministry helping those in need in Front Royal and beyond. Checks can be made out to Kelsey’s Missions and mailed to 609 Clark Rd., Stephens City, VA 22655.
