Memories from the Empty Bowl Supper 2019

Published

on

The 2019 Empty Bowl Supper was a great success! Photos courtesy of Jennifer Avery.

The fire hall was full of families and friends supporting the House of Hope last week during the Empty Bowl Supper. So many beautiful bowls were painted this year! Soups were delicious and the homemade dessert treats hit the spot! Siggi Hepp-Dax has been a strong supporter/founder of the Empty Bowl Supper. This year she was recognized with The Siggi Hepp-Dax Spirit of Hope Award. Watch this video to see more:

Thank you to our local Rotary Clubs, Sponsors, Soup Donors (The Apple House, Blue Wing Frog, El Maguey, Osteria, Pavemint), volunteers, and special friends who painted bowls!

Siggi Hepp-Dax was recognized with The Siggi Hepp-Dax Spirit of Hope Award.

The Empty Bowl Supper benefits the House of Hope, a residential program for homeless men. It was first founded in 2008. It is a 24-hour facility with approximately 16 beds and provides shelter, food, laundry facilities, counseling and more for the residents.
