Winchester Police: Stabbing victim hospitalized, arrest made
WINCHESTER – A Winchester man has been hospitalized with life-threatening injuries following an early-Saturday morning stabbing, according to the Winchester Police Department.
Crime Prevention Specialist Jennifer Hall said that at around 5:45 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 7, officers responded to Gibbens Street for a reported stabbing. They arrived on scene to find a 37-year-old male victim with multiple stab wounds to his chest, abdomen and legs. The victim was transported to Winchester Medical Center with potentially life-threatening injuries.

Officers determined the stabbing occurred in an alleyway behind the 600 block of N. Loudoun Street, where they located a weapon believed to be involved in the incident.
A suspect, Kelvin Mc Lindsey Brown, 56, was taken into custody and charged with malicious wounding. He is currently being held without bond at the Northwestern Regional Adult Detention Center.
