Aaron Tabor, age 50, passed away on February 11, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

Aaron Tabor

Aaron is survived by his wife, Rachel Tabor; his children, Shania, Mark, Audrina, and Ashton; his parents, Chuck and Rita; his sister, Kim Layman and her husband Lester; his nephews Justin Elshafie (wife Tristan and their children Mila and Zane) and Matt Elshafie; as well as many aunts, uncles, extended family members, and friends.

Aaron proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, achieving the rank of Lance Corporal — a chapter of his life that meant a great deal to him and reflected his strength, discipline, and sense of commitment.

Aaron’s lifelong passion was Rottweilers. He dedicated himself to breeding, training, and showing them, earning deep respect in the dog community. Many considered him a legend in the Rottweiler world — not only for the dogs he raised and showed, but for his remarkable knowledge of pedigrees, bloodlines, and the breed itself. Those who knew him through this passion understood how much joy and purpose it brought to his life.

Above all else, Aaron loved his children deeply. They were the center of his world, and being their father was his proudest role.

Aaron faced his illness with strength and determination for over seven years. His perseverance and the love surrounding him carried him through that journey. He will be remembered for his dedication, passion, love for his family, and the lasting impact he had on those who knew him.

A celebration of life is being planned for a future date; details will be shared once arrangements are finalized.

He will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever present in the lives and hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Arrangements by Brown Funeral Home. Online condolences may be offered at www.BrownFuneralHomesWV.com
