George Washington at Valley Forge was presented by Abel Johnston on Memorial weekend Sunday May 28 at the Bethel Assembly of God. The congregation learned about the suffering and the ultimate miracle that occurred in 1777 and 1778 which saved the War for American Independence. The service was followed by a picnic on the grounds. Pastor Steven Schetrom was Liberty Man’s host.

Immediately above veterans joined Liberty man to talk and enjoy refreshments and the cookout. The Rev. Larry W. Johnson whose great grandfathers fought in the War tells their history of sacrifice for American Freedom.
The spotless beautiful building provided an aisle where children joined the veterans in a procession to the flag pole where America’s fallen heroes were hon-ored and remembered with prayers, musket salute and taps.
