Accounting Student Night: Free Networking Event for Future CPAs – Oct. 23
Thinking about a career in accounting? Come to Accounting Student Night on Thursday, Oct. 23, from 5–8 p.m. at Laurel Ridge Community College’s Middletown Campus. The event is free and open to high school and college students.
Hosted by the Shenandoah Chapter of the Virginia Society of CPAs (VSCPA), this evening is built to help you learn what accountants do, meet employers, and ask questions about classes, internships, certifications, and first jobs.
What to expect:
- Speakers sharing real-world career paths and tips
- An employer panel on hiring, internships, and what they look for
- Networking time with local firms, industry pros, and other students
