Art history lecture on John Singer Sargent – Samuels Public Library
Beginning this coming Tuesday (April 11), join Samuels Public Library in Front Royal for a free, two-part lecture series on American Impressionist painter John Singer Sargent (1856 – 1925). Sargent’s paintings of Venice, the British countryside and the Alps, as well as his unforgettable portraits of both adults and children, comprise some of the most beautiful images of the period.
