Blunt, Honest, Proven: Hugh Henry Is Ready to Lead

Published

on

I am not politically motivated, and I usually keep my preferred candidate choices to myself. Also, I am not a resident of either of the two contested open seats for the BOS.

However, I follow what happens in and around my home and business. Therefore, I feel that my opinion on who holds the top decision-making roles in our county matters.

In the election for supervisor in the Fork district, I have an informed perspective on the candidate Hugh Henry. Firstly, having been one of my closest friends for 35 years, I am confident he will work tirelessly for the citizens of Warren County. The second reason for my endorsement carries more weight in demonstrating his leadership capabilities. For 25 years, Hugh led our race team, making critical decisions that ensured our success on the track. As the driver, I trusted him completely to make changes that could either make us faster or potentially endanger my life. While racing decisions differ from governing a county, this experience assures me that he will approach Warren County’s future with the same dedication and integrity.

Hugh’s blunt honesty will be a refreshing change to our current board. His ability to confront challenges head-on was evident when he managed a major crisis during a key race event, adapting strategies under pressure and leading the team to victory. This decisiveness and clarity in high-pressure situations reflect his readiness to serve as a leader. His vision for the county aligns with the qualities we need to move forward. As a community, we require leaders who are unafraid to take bold steps, embrace innovation, and prioritize the welfare of EVERY resident. I firmly believe Hugh Henry embodies these attributes and will bring a fresh, dynamic energy to the Board of Supervisors, ensuring Warren County thrives in the years to come.
