Warren Heritage Society Annual Dinner: A Swinging Affair

The Warren Heritage Society (WHS) is delighted to announce its Annual Dinner, A Swinging Affair, on Thursday, November 13, 2025, at the DoubleTree Hilton in Front Royal. This lively evening will feature a live swing band and dancing, a delicious dinner and drinks, and a joyful celebration of community and history.

As Warren County’s oldest independent history organization, WHS proudly maintains three historic museums, the award-winning Laura Virginia Hale Archives, and unique heritage sites including the county’s only 1700s working outdoor kitchen, a recreated late-1800s country store, a blacksmith shop, smokehouse, loom house, children’s swing house, and heritage gardens. Remarkably, WHS accomplishes this work without local or state government funding—relying instead on the generosity of local businesses, members, and community partners.

“This dinner is not only a celebration of our community’s history, but also of the friends and partners who make our mission possible,” said Teresa Henry, President of the WHS Board of Directors. “We invite everyone to join us for an evening of music, dining, and dancing while ensuring that Warren County’s stories continue to be preserved and shared.”
