CWSO presents “Haunted Symphony: The Witching Hour”

The Charles Washington Symphony Orchestra invites the public to join them for their annual fall concert event “The Haunted Symphony: The Witching Hour”.

Join the Charles Washington Symphony Orchestra, led by conductor Doug Thompson, as we perform several seasonal favorites including the Complete Harry Potter Suite, Pictures at an Exhibition by Mussorgsky, selections from The Nightmare Before Christmas by Danny Elfman, and other hauntingly beautiful pieces.

Our concert will be held on Saturday, October 25th at 2pm at Harpers Ferry Middle School, 1710 W Washington Street, Bolivar, WV. Light refreshments will be provided courtesy of our players. This family friendly program is free and open to the public, and costumes are encouraged.

As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, the Charles Washington Symphony Orchestra values bringing musical experiences to our communities in Jefferson County in an easily accessible way. About the CWSO

The Charles Washington Symphony Orchestra was founded in 2012 as Charles Town’s community orchestra. Our mission is to provide a place for local musicians of all ages and abilities to rehearse and perform quality music for the benefit of the individual, this organization, and the entire community.  Interested musicians can contact us at info@cwsymp.org. The CWSO values accessibility; it is free for musicians to participate in this organization, and concerts are presented free for the public.  As a 501(c)(3) non-profit performing arts organization, donations collected at concerts and throughout the year will be used both to sustain the orchestra and fund projects within the community that support arts awareness and education.
