Published

on

Add an elegant touch to your holiday gatherings with these fig and prosciutto canapés. The combination of creamy cheese, salty prosciutto, and sweet figs will delight your guests and set the tone for a festive feast.

Ingredients (Serves 12):

  • 12 slices baguette bread
  • 5 ounces blue cheese or goat cheese (adjust to taste)
  • 12 slices prosciutto
  • 6 fresh figs, quartered
  • 4 sprigs fresh rosemary, cut into 3 equal parts each
  • Freshly ground pepper

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Bread Base:
Arrange the baguette slices on a platter or serving tray.
  2. Spread the Cheese:
Spread a layer of blue or goat cheese evenly over each slice of bread. Adjust the amount to match your preference for creaminess and flavor intensity.
  3. Add Prosciutto and Figs:
Place a slice of prosciutto neatly on top of the cheese. Add two fig quarters to each canapé for a burst of sweetness.
  4. Garnish with Rosemary:
Tuck a sprig of fresh rosemary into each canapé, adding a touch of aromatic flair.
  5. Finish with Pepper:
Sprinkle freshly ground pepper over the canapés for a subtle kick of spice.
  6. Serve and Impress:
Arrange the canapés on a decorative platter and serve immediately. Enjoy the compliments from your guests!

Tip: For an extra festive touch, drizzle a little honey or balsamic glaze over the canapés before serving. 🎄✨
