Front Royal Asks for Your Help to Protect Drinking Water

Published

on

The Town of Front Royal is seeking assistance from residents and business owners to ensure the safety of the community’s drinking water. In compliance with an EPA requirement, the town must complete a lead service line inventory map. To do this, the town needs to document the materials of water service lines running from water meters to the inside of homes and businesses.

You can help by identifying the material of your water pipe and filling out a brief survey online by October 4, 2024. The survey aims to determine if any lead pipes are present, helping the town protect public health by taking action where needed.

To make things easier, the town has provided detailed instructions on how and where to identify the pipe material. For more information, see the attached guides below or visit the survey link. If you have any questions, the Water Treatment Plant can assist at 540-636-7474.

Take a moment to complete the survey here: Water Pipe Material Survey. Your participation will play a vital role in protecting your drinking water for years to come!
