on

Front Royal Midget Football hosted it’s second week of strength and conditioning camp on Sunday, July 16, 2017. The camp saw far higher kids come out to participate this week, with almost 80 in attendance. Guest speaker, Jonathan Kloosterman, was in attendance and spent time talking to the kids. Jonathan Kloosterman was the starting tight-end from JMU’s National Championship team. He caught seven touchdowns in 2017, including one in the national championship game! Returning guests included:

  • Coach Bush, Varsity Head Coach from Warren County High School
  • HB Banjoman, College Football alumni from Eastern Kentucky University, VHSL Rushing record holder and Warren County Alumni and Hall of Fame member
  • Brandon Carter from Carter Nutrition
  • and many high school football players and volunteers

This camp truly would not be the success it has been without the many campers, parents, volunteers and sponsors. The camp has two more weeks left and will run on July 23rd and 30th from 5 to 7 PM. The camp is free for all boys and girls and is held at the old middle school game field at 465 West 15th Street Front Royal, VA 22630.
