Published

on

The Hike Kidz Foundation, led by Arron and Harmony Hike, brought joy to the community as they announced the winners of their recent raffle fundraiser at the gazebo following the Christmas parade. The foundation, dedicated to supporting local children and caretakers, exceeded its $6,000 fundraising goal, with $7,520 pledged and $6,520 received.

“Our mission is to address the immediate needs of children and their families, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive,” said Harmony Hike.

Raffle Raises Funds and Spirits

The raffle fundraiser, held the previous week, was a resounding success, thanks to the generosity of local donors and the enthusiastic participation of the community. Proceeds will go toward supporting local elementary schools and assisting families in need.

Here are the raffle winners:

  • Matt Bradley: Grand Prize Winner of the Pirate Group Adventure Package (valued at $3,400), including:
    • A night at Pirate’s Cove
    • A pirate ship ride
    • A photo booth package from In the Moment
    • Meals catered by Apple House, desserts from Meraki Sweets by Tiffany, and breakfast from Garcia & Gavino
  • Jacob Hutson: Winner of a Smart TV
  • Shane Adkins: Winner of a gift basket featuring gift cards to The Melting Pot and Rebel Heart Beauty Co.
  • Evelyn Fleming: Winner of the free kids’ giveaway—a karaoke machine

“This event brought so much joy and truly highlighted the incredible support of our community,” said Harmony Hike. “We’re thrilled to have surpassed our goal and can’t wait to use these funds to make a real difference.”

A Mission Rooted in Community

The Hike Kidz Foundation was created to directly address the challenges faced by children in the Front Royal area. The organization focuses on fostering a sense of shared responsibility within the community, inviting families to share their needs and working together to provide solutions.

“Our community is full of compassionate, selfless individuals who want to help,” said Harmony. “This is only the beginning of what we can achieve together.”
